Power BI Developer

1-2 Years Power BI Experience, able to perform basic wrangling, modelling, and visualisation.
R 360 000 CTC pa
  • Import from basic data sources
  • Perform basic cleansing and wrangling
  • Build a Dimensional Model in Power BI
  • Create explicit measures and add to Data Model
  • Use built in Time Intelligence in measures
  • Design a basic report with various interactions

Intermediate Power BI Developer

2-3 Years Power BI Experience, able to perform more complex wrangling, modelling, and visualisation.
R 540 000 CTC pa
  • Import from more complex data sources
  • Build custom measures using CALCULATE
  • Create measures using custom Time Intelligence
  • Implement basic design report principles to improve look of reports
  • Optimise a report with performance issues

4+ Years Power BI Experience, able to perform complex wrangling, modelling, and visualisation, as well as a solid understanding of Power BI Administration

  • Import data using custom functions

  • Implement Role Based and Row Level Security
  • Optimise Performance of Data Import and refresh
  • Create measures using custom Time Intelligence
  • Use Data Storytelling techniques to improve a report
  • Upgrade a report to increase the accessibility
